APPROACH

My therapeutic approach is strength based, holistic, and grounded in the belief that each person carries innate wisdom and resilience. My intention for our work together is to support you in uncovering and trusting your inner knowing, while building practical tools that foster growth, well being, and lasting change.

I draw from evidence based psychotherapy modalities including CBT, DBT, IFS, and Narrative Therapy, while also integrating mindfulness and a range of somatic practices. With over thirty years of experience as a holistic health practitioner and bodyworker, I attend not only to thoughts and emotions, but also to the body’s role in healing and self awareness.

My work is informed by The Biopsychosocial-Spiritual (BPSS) model. This model recognizes that we cannot be understood in isolation from our bodies, minds, relationships, meaning purpose, social and physical environments. I value the word holistic in its truest sense: the understanding that the parts of a person are interconnected and best understood in relationship to the whole.

I bring a commitment to cultural humility and social awareness into my practice. In the words of Cornel West, I believe “justice is what love looks like in public,” I strive to listen deeply, honor lived experience, and create a space that is respectful, inclusive, and collaborative.
